Justin Henry Pagel

Justin Henry Pagel, 40, of Charlevoix, Michigan, passed away Friday April 5, 2024, at his home in Charlevoix, MI unexpectedly. Justin was born on June 8, 1983, in Petoskey, MI to Colleen Field and Ricky Pagel. He grew up in Petoskey, MI and attended school at Petoskey High School. Justin was a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians Tribe. On August 10, 2015, he married his lifelong love, Dorothy Elizabeth Kiogima, in Petoskey, MI. Justin and Dorothy enjoyed a beautiful relationship of twenty-four years, having dated for fifteen years, and been married nine years. He was a loving father to their two children, Kierra and Noah Pagel. Justin enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on vehicles, and spending time with his beloved children Kierra and Noah. He was dedicated, loving, and always protective of his family as they were his whole world.

He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Jaimee Lynn Pagel, who was thirty-one years old at the time of her passing; maternal grandmother, Anne Priscilla Field; maternal grandfather, Henry Gordon Field, Sr.; paternal grandmother, June Elizabeth Pagel (Armstrong); and paternal grandfather Harold C. Pagel; father-in-law Michael Lewis Kiogima, Sr.

Justin is survived by his wife, Dorothy Pagel; daughter, Kierra Ann Pagel who is 17 years old; son, Noah Henry Pagel who is 12 years old; mother, Colleen Sue Field; and father, Ricky J. Pagel.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
